School Districts for Alpharetta-Address Homes

The short answer

Two public school districts serve homes with an Alpharetta address: Fulton County Schools for homes in Alpharetta, Milton and Johns Creek, and Forsyth County Schools for homes in unincorporated Forsyth County. Attendance zones are drawn by each district and can change. The only reliable check is the district’s own address locator, linked here.

How to confirm a school assignment

  1. Open the district’s locator (above) and enter the exact street address.
  2. Write down the elementary, middle and high school it returns, and the date you checked.
  3. Ask the district about any planned rezoning before you close; listings can be out of date.

We do not rank schools. For state accountability data, see the Georgia Department of Education’s reports for the school the locator gives you.
